Les Miles is effectively creating "Head QB" and "Assistant QB" positions. This is using the same concept as the coaching heirarchy or a corporate structure. I know there are a lot of people who don't like this concept however I think it develops the kind of strength that keeps a team from being devastated if their solo QB goes down. I think Miles is a helluva lot smarter than people recognize.
One thing I know for sure - you have to be creative and innovative if you want to be great. Otherwise you're just a corporate drone and doomed to mediocrity.
I'm extremely happy to have Les Miles at the helm.
